We will always have the 44

“I’ve lived in Wallingford for 61 years. We moved here in 1955, and I went to the grade school that is now Wallingford Center. Then onto Hamilton and Lincoln. I live in the same home I grew up in, with my Son and his wife. Many of my neighbors have been here for years, but there are also lots of new younger families moving in. It’s a good neighborhood. Wallingford has changed a lot over the years. It’s busy now, and there are more cars. The QFC was called Food Giant, and there used to be just two pharmacies. One thing that is consistent is the bus 44. It’s always been the 44, and I think we will always have it.”
