“I’m an actor, and I never imagined we’d be living in Seattle. I grew up in LA, but I did spend a few childhood years with my grandmother in Taiwan.
The beginning in Seattle was hard. I was depressed. It was a new place, and people are so insular here. There is this introverted-ness about Seattle. It took expelling a human out of my body to meet people. I joined a PEPS group. I’m trying to balance my own personal aspirations with being a Mom. It’s hard with no family around and a ridiculously busy husband.
Now, my daughter is 17 months old, and we are getting ready to move back to LA. It’s going to be another big change. I’m going to miss Seattle. I like the walking, all the green spaces, and the child-friendly spaces in restaurants, coffee shops and even breweries. Plus, the view waling down Wallingford is killer!”
